HONG KONG - Sports fans descended on Hong Kong’s Victoria Park Swimming Pool on Saturday morning to watch a diving and swimming demonstration by visiting mainland Olympic medalists.

Fans filled up the venue as the demonstration got underway at around 9:30 am. Another demonstration session by the visiting athletes on fencing, gymnastics, table tennis and badminton was held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium Wan Chai around the same time.

Besides giving demonstrations, the mainland Olympians in diving, swimming, rowing and canoeing also had a friendly chat with local young athletes. 

Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs Joe Wong visited pool to view the demonstrations and greeted members of the delegation in the morning.
