"Merry Balloon Hong Kong 2026", Asia's largest cross-IP character winter celebration, is set to return to the city next month. 

The event, supported by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, will take place at Kai Tak Sports Park from Dec 18 to 27, featuring nearly 20 popular IP characters. The 10-day celebration will include a Christmas bounce house, carnival games and over 40 stalls offering culinary delights and creative goods.
