Hong Kong justice secretary hails gains in security awareness
June 30 this year marks the fifth anniversary of the enactment of the #NationalSecurityLaw for #HongKong.
In an interview with China Daily, Paul Lam Ting-kwok, Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, elaborated on the initiatives that his department has undertaken to advance legal education, particularly among the youth, and promote national security awareness.
He also shared his observations on societal transformations in Hong Kong over the past five years since the law took effect, and outlined future strategies to incorporate national security education into professional legal training and public legal literacy campaigns.
