Hundreds of global financial heavyweights gathered in Hong Kong on Tuesday for the Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit to engage in high-level dialogues on political, economic, and technological developments while deepening ties across the international financial community.

Hosted by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority from Monday to Wednesday, the flagship event returned for its fifth edition under the theme "Rethinking the Playbook". The three-day summit convened approximately 280 financial leaders in the special administrative region, with the participation of around 120 group chairpersons and chief executive officers of top-tier global financial institutions.

The main summit opened on Tuesday, following a welcome dinner on Monday evening. The final day will feature a "Conversations with Global Investors" forum, co-hosted by the HKMA, the Securities and Futures Commission, and the Hong Kong Academy of Finance.

Throughout the summit, participants will analyze macroeconomic trends, financial market shifts, and technological disruptions that are shaping emerging opportunities and risks across diverse sectors, asset classes, and geographies.
