The final round of the Guangdong College Students' Excellent Fashion Design Competition was held on Thursday in Haizhu district -- a major hub for the Chinese textile industry -- in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. 

Elite design students from 27 fashion institutions across the province showcased their distinctive creations at the contest, themed "Weaving Dreams: A 20-Year Journey, Growing Together in Gratitude".

The competition was held alongside the 2025 China (Guangdong) University Fashion Week, which featured designs from more than 20,000 students, serving as a significant platform for local emerging talents to connect with the industry.
