HONG KONG - Tourists gathered at the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront under persistent heat on Monday, with temperatures hitting around 33 degrees Celsius at noon. The weather remained fine, drawing crowds to the harbourfront despite the high temperatures.
According to the Hong Kong Observatory, very hot weather with isolated showers is expected to continue in the coming days.

The public has been advised to take precautions against heat-related illnesses. Heatstroke precautions are especially advised for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and outdoor workers.
