A protester in a 6-meter-long python costume demonstrates against LVMH outside Louis Vuitton’s Landmark store in Hong Kong on Thursday, condemning the luxury group’s alleged cruelty in using python skin for its brand accessories. The protest also urges customers to boycott such items.

Organized by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Asia, the event is part of a series of planned protests in Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. While LVMH sources from python farms, activists accuse the company of animal cruelty in its skinning practices.

China Daily's Adam Lam took the photos on Thursday.
