A Chinese sturgeon, an endangered fish species, is released into the Yangtze River in Yichang, Hubei province, on Saturday. About 230,000 captive-bred Chinese sturgeons were released on Saturday to help restore the species’ wild population. (LI MING / FOR CHINA DAILY)
