HONG KONG - A new park featuring sporty comics and animated figures officially opened at the Wan Chai Temporary Promenade on Monday.

Sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency of the Hong Kong government and presented by the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation, the AniCom Sports Park showcases 36 animation and comics characters from different eras and highlights diverse styles of Hong Kong's comics creators.

In this new park, both residents and tourists can walk down memory lane and experience the charm of Hong Kong’s comics and animation development.

Riding on the wave of the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 Naional Games, the park also aims to promote sports and pay tribute to athletes.
