Residents queue early for Olympians' demonstration

HONG KONG - Long queues snaked outside the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wang Chai early Saturday morning, with eager Hong Kong residents, young and old, rubbing their hands for performance to be put up by visiting mainland Olympians. Kids are particularly excited, frolicking while browsing a booklet, doing homework for the show.

Mainland athletes will show their fencing, gymnastic, table tennis and badminton skills at the stadium, while another demonstration of diving and swimming will be held at Victoria Park Swimming Pool in Causeway Bay around the same time.
