HONG KONG - Visiting mainland Olympians attended a welcome reception held by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government at the Government House on Friday.

The reception was followed by a government-hosted banquet at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.

The delegation — comprising 29 athletes and three coaches from 12 sports events — arrived in the city in the afternoon to kick off a three-day visit to the SAR.

They will attend a variety of activities including performances and presentations, and will also reach out to communities and schools to interact with Hong Kong youth.
