The Hong Kong Observatory cancelled all tropical cyclone warning signals on Sunday afternoon as Typhoon Wutip continued to move away from the city.

The HKO cancelled the Strong Wind Signal, No. 3 at 3:40 pm and replaced it with the Strong Monsoon Signal, which means winds blowing in excess of 40 kilometers per hour near sea level were expected. The observatory added that the weather will remain unsettled until Tuesday.
