CSL: Coach Rodriguez leaves Wuhan Three Towns

BEIJING - Wuhan Three Towns announced on Wednesday that Ricardo Rodriguez has departed as head coach of the Chinese Super League side.

"According to the mutual agreement reached after friendly consultation, Mr Ricardo no longer serves as the head coach and the sporting director of Wuhan Three Towns FC," the Wuhan club said in a brief statement.

"The club fully acknowledges the efforts Ricardo made during the period he managed the team," the Wuhan club said.

The Spaniard had been appointed head coach of Wuhan in January this year.

Under his guidance, Wuhan Three Towns, who had been tipped for relegation, successfully kept their CSL status after finishing 11th in the 2024 season.
