
CHANGSHA — Six people were killed and seven others injured in a road accident in Central China's Hunan province on Monday, authorities said.

The accident happened at 7:36 am, when a white car lost control after being rear-ended by a taxi and crashed into several vehicles running in the other direction on Lusong Bridge in the city of Zhuzhou, according to traffic police of the city's public security bureau.
The injured people are being treated and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
