Shandong cruise past Cangzhou in Chinese Super League

JINAN - Shandong Taishan smashed Cangzhou Mighty Lions 4-1 while Chengdu Rongcheng beat Shenzhen Peng City 3-1 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Shandong's attacking wave remained hot for the rest of the game

Shandong broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when goalkeeper Wang Dalei's long pass created a good chance for Fei Nanduo to set up for Abdurasul Abudulam, who scored the opener for the home team.

In the 39th minute, Fei Nanduo sent another superb cross to Li Yuanyi, who struck Shandong's second, before Fei Nanduo hit a penalty in first-half injury time to make it 3-0.

Shandong's attacking wave remained hot for the rest of the game. In the 67th minute, Valeri Qazaishvili made it 4-0 with a shot from a tight angle.

Oscar scored a consolation for Cangzhou in the dying minutes.

Elsewhere, Chengdu beat Shenzhen 3-1 as Brazilian striker Felipe's hat-trick helped Chengdu secure their fifth consecutive victory, Wuhan Three Towns drew with Changchun Yatai 0-0, and Shanghai Shenhua defeated Nantong Zhiyun 2-0.
