Huakeng Village in Guangzhou’s Huangpu district revived the time-honored tradition of “drgaon boat visit” on Thursday.  

In line with Dragon Boat Festival customs in Guangdong, Huakeng Village sent invitations in advance to neighboring “brother villages” and “cousin villages”, formally inviting them to visit.

On their arrival by decorated dragon boats, the invitees were welcomed with a feast known as “Dragon Boat rice.”
