EU agency says third-party ransomware behind airport disruptions

BERLIN - The European Union's cybersecurity agency said on Monday that airport disruptions caused by problems with automatic check-in systems were caused by a third-party ransomware incident.

"The type of ransomware has been identified. Law enforcement is involved to investigate," said the agency ENISA in a statement.
