SHIJIAZHUANG - Beijing, Zhejiang and Shanghai secured their semifinal berths through the best-of-three quarterfinals of the 2022-2023 Chinese Men's Volleyball Super League on Tuesday.
Defending champions Beijing defeated Nanjing 25-15, 25-21 and 25-14, with overseas spikers Thomas John Jaeschke and Hernandez Cardonell Yosvany scoring 15 and 14 points respectively.
Zhejiang swept Sichuan 25-16, 28-26, 25-17, while Shanghai smashed Tianjin 25-18, 25-16, 25-20.

Shandong, who had survived a five-set thriller in the first game on Monday, lost to Baoding 25-22, 25-18, 26-24. They will square off again on Wednesday to fight for the last ticket to the final four.
