SHANGHAI - Hong Kong stocks ended higher on Tuesday.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.7 percent to 20,905.88, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 1.5 percent to 7,185.19.
Mainland real estate developers listed in Hong Kong jumped more than 5 percent, extending gains from the previous session.
The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 1.4 percent. Alibaba Group climbed 4.8 percent to lead the gains, after the e-commerce giant said it will apply for a primary listing in Hong Kong and keep its US listing.
