Different kind of ventilator

The Breas ventilator Z1 by Fosun Health can be used by cable-connecting it to a computer. Doctors can operate the Z1 using a PC outside the patient quarantine area, thus minimizing the risk of doctor-patient cross-infection.

With a built-in battery, the ventilator is portable, allowing the patient to walk around different departments for tests and treatment. It supports both noninvasive and invasive modes, which can be quickly switched, in case of worsening of, or improvement in, the patient's condition. More than 8,000 sets of Breas ventilators have been used in the COVID-19 fight globally.

Rapid blood analyzer

This equipment from Abbott is a market leader in point-of-care testing. It can realize lab-level rapid testing of 23 items, including blood gas, electrolytes, blood sugar, renal function, lactic acid, coagulation, and myocardial markers in blood, and testing results are obtained within two to 10 minutes.

More than 30 million patients globally use this machine annually in various clinical scenarios, including pre-hospital first aid, disaster rescue, and on-site rapid tests in public health incidents.

Regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the machine helps carry out bedside tests for quarantine patients and exempts frontline medical workers from going in and out of the quarantine wards repeatedly, thus reducing their risk of getting infected by the virus.

Clinical command center

A command center called "Mural" is a GE Healthcare product that integrates global research and development resources and in-depth insight into China's infrastructure characteristics of its intensive care units, cross-hospital ward management models, and regional medical quality improvement requirements.

The command center can open up information boundaries and realize information interconnection in a more flexible and smooth way. Medical workers can realize a more precise understanding of disease condition changes and carries out more efficient implementation of treatment.

The equipment is aimed to improve the efficiency of medical resources, especially extremely busy ICUs.

Superfast thermometer

With high-sensitivity thermal detection technology and an efficient calculation method, this Terumo thermometer is for medical use. It can measure temperatures within 20 seconds, and the margin of error is less than 0.1 C. Overall waterproof design solves the clinical problem of full immersion in disinfectant. When the novel coronavirus epidemic hit China early this year, the company sent 2,500 such thermometers as emergency donations to frontline hospitals.

Hydrogen cell for big truck

A vehicle called the "Xcient Fuel Cell" from Hyundai is equipped with a 190-kilowatt cell system with hydrogen fuel and a driving motor with a maximum output of 350 kW. Its total body weight reaches 34 metric tons, and its cruising range can reach 400 km after a single charge.

Supermarket chains and logistics operators from Switzerland were the main buyers of the first mass-produced batch of 10 such environmentally friendly trucks in July. China will become a main target market for such vehicles for commercial use, and the company aims export goals at 27,000 to China by 2030.

Lightest supercar

The Apollo IE is imported by Hong Kong Apollo Future Mobility Group Ltd. It boasts a modern and dazzling appearance and design. Full carbon fiber is used in the chassis, cockpit, frame, and anti-collision structure to meet the requirements of safety, anti-torsion rigidity, and lightweight.

In coordination with the carbon fiber cabin, the fuel tank uses composite materials of carbon fiber and Kevlar fiber, which can withstand high-strength impact and prevent puncture from hard and sharp objects.

The vehicle is equipped with door hinge safety device and integrated fire extinguishing system, providing high level of safety protection for riders in the event of accidental overturning and damage.

Tent that opens in a flash

A camping tent from Decathlon can be opened within two seconds. It is a Guinness World Record-setting product. The time to set up and put back to store the tent is reduced by almost 100 percent compared with all the quick-opening tents of the previous generations. With brand-new technology patents, the product will bring a novel experience to outdoor enthusiasts.

New ALL drug

Besponsa is a targeted therapy from Pfizer for acute lymphoblastic leukemia or ALL treatment. It was included in the priority review list in China in March and is expected to be approved for the China market soon. There was no new drug for ALL patients in the country over the past decade.

As the world's first antibody drug conjugate targeting CD22 for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory CD22-positive B-cell precursor ALL, it has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.

ALL accounts for 15 percent of all leukemia patients. Nearly half of ALL patients relapse with a median survival of only four to eight months.

Spiciest instant noodles

Samyang Food from South Korea, which will make its debut at the third CIIE, will exhibit its instant noodle product series famous for being spicy.

The instant noodle products with extremely spicy and a little sweet flavor have been chased after by some Chinese consumers since their debut in the market in recent years. In early 2019, a trading company in Ningbo city, Zhejiang province, signed an agreement with the South Korean company to work as the general sales agent for the latter to satisfy Chinese consumers' need for the products.

Blackest chewing gum

Mondelez International will exhibit a new chewing gum product in black for the Chinese market during the third CIIE. Both the food product and the packaging are black, a trend for fashion chasers and snack-chewing internet celebrities, according to the company.
