MADRID -  Sevilla keeper Bono saved an injury time penalty to help move his side into the top-four of La Liga after a 2-1 win away to Alaves on Tuesday night.

The keeper stopped Joselu's spot kick after Jules Kounde was penalized for handball in the 91st minute of the game.

Youssef En-Neysiri had put Sevilla ahead in the second minute of the game only for Edgar Mendez to equalize nine minutes later before Suso scored what would turn out to be the final goal of the game with a stunning left foot shot in the 29th minute.

The visitors thought they had netted a third goal seven minutes from time when Ximo Navarro put the ball into his own net, but after a VAR consultation it was ruled out for a previous handball from En-Neysiri.

Tuesday's two earlier kick-offs produced entertaining 2-2 draws between Cadiz and Levante and Valladolid and Elche.

Third from bottom Elche took a 2-0 lead in their visit to Valladolid, who sat immediately above them in the table before kick-off, with goals from Josan Ferrandez in the 9th and 43rd minutes of the game.

It wasn't until the 71st minute that Michel's strike threw Valladolid a lifeline and Joaquin Fernandez's last minute header from a well-delivered free kick in the last minute saw the points shared.

Cadiz and Levante also shared four goals with Roger Marti scoring twice for Levante in the 8th and 11th minutes between goals by Alberto Perea after 4 minutes and Juan Cala in the 22nd minute.

Wednesday sees Getafe entertain Huesca, while Betis face Celta and Granada visit Villarreal.
