CARACAS - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Tuesday voiced hope for dialogue with the incoming administration of US President-elect Joe Biden.
"Let's hope that the new government of Mr Joe Biden will be installed. Let's hope they have time to think and channels of communication and dialogue between Venezuela and the United States are opened," Maduro told a press conference at government headquarters in Caracas.

"It is very important to know that we have always been willing and will always be willing to establish ties of communication, dialogue and respect with the government of the United States," Maduro added.
Dialogue, Maduro stressed, will be one of the priorities of the country's newly-elected National Assembly, which will convene in January.
