Residents across Hong Kong are mourning the passing of Tung Chee-hwa, the special administrative region's first chief executive, who died on Sept 8 at the age of 89.

The government has set up condolence points at three locations across Hong Kong starting Friday, running for three consecutive days until Sunday.

Many residents visited the condolence points to pay their respects, with some bringing flowers.
