After more than three years, Villa Haw Par, a Grade I historic building in Hong Kong, is set to reopen its doors in the second half of this year — reborn as a vibrant hub for cultural and artistic expression. A launch ceremony took place on Monday to mark the occasion.

Rosanna Law Shuk-pui, secretary for culture, sports and tourism, and other distinguished guests attended the ceremony.

Last year, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government entrusted the Foundation for Art and Culture with the operation of the villa. Upon reopening, the venue will offer a rich tapestry of activities, including exhibitions, live performances, film screenings, and guided tours.
