HONG KONG - The ICH+ Festival 2024/25 opened at Tai Kwun's Duplex Studio in Central on Wednesday, presenting over 300 works co-created by local intangible cultural heritage (ICH) masters and students.
The exhibition, organized under the Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, showcases intergenerational collaboration across more than 30 ICH domains.
Key exhibits include a six-meter flower board and reinterpretations of Guangcai porcelain. The festival also features workshops, craft demonstrations, themed game booths, and public sharing sessions led by ICH practitioners.
Running until July 5, the event aims to strengthen public engagement and support the transmission of traditional craftsmanship through education and community participation.
China Daily's Andy Chong captured the fun at the exhibition.
