A race was held Saturday in Hong Kong, marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the People's Republic of China.

Starting from Hong Kong's iconic Victoria Peak, "The Peak Run" has led runners to explore the tranquil nature while appreciating the stunning surroundings of the special administrative region. 

Shaikh Saoud Ali Almualla, the UAE consul general in the HKSAR, and Cui Jianchun, commissioner of China’s Foreign Ministry in the HKSAR, attended the race.
