Hong Kong’s boccia athlete Ho Yuen-kei won the second gold for the city as the Hong Kong, China Delegation bagged four medals – two gold and as many silver medals – on day five of the Paris Paralympics.
Ho defeated Australia's Jamieson Leeson 4-2 in the women's individual BC3 final at the South Paris Arena.
Earlier in the day, four-time Paralympian John Loung kicked off a medal spree for the special administrative region at the men's boccia individual BC1 final, beating South Korea’s Jung Sung-joon 4-1.

Their teammate Cheung Yuen, meanwhile, grabbed a silver medal in the Women's Individual BC4 event.
Wheelchair badminton star Chan Ho-yuen also won a silver medal in the men's singles WH2 event.
The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won two gold, three silver, and one bronze medal at the Paris Paralympic Games.
Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu and Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung Yun-hung congratulated the Hong Kong athletes for bringing glory to the city with their remarkable feat at the Paris Paralympics.
Pointing out that Ho Yuen-kei has performed outstandingly in the competition and shown extraordinary perseverance, Lee said: “All Hong Kong people and I are encouraged and proud of her excellent performance.”

The sports secretary said he is thrilled by her outstanding performance and demeanor of a great athlete, adding: “Ho Yuen-kei performed at her best and gave full play to her skills in the competition.”
Speaking about Cheung Yuen, who participated in the Paralympic Games for the first time, the CE said she stayed resilient against the world's best athletes throughout the competitions and achieved an outstanding performance.
“All Hong Kong people and I are proud of her.”

He also praised badminton star Chan Ho-yuen for demonstrating outstanding skills and exceptional determination in the competition, eventually achieving his goal of getting a better result compared with the last Paralympic Games.
The sports secretary will depart for Paris to cheer for Hong Kong athletes participating in the Paralympic Games. Besides meeting with the Hong Kong, China Delegation at the Olympic Village in Paris, he will watch various competitions participated by the Hong Kong athletes.
He will also officiate at the opening ceremony of Hong Kong Design on Stage at Maison&Objet 2024 which is located at the venue, and witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency and the Safi Salons Francais ET Internationaux on cooperation between Hong Kong and Paris relating to the field of design.
Yeung will also meet with the Executive President of the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, Pascal Morand, and local practitioners of the art and design industry and promote collaboration opportunities.
