Chinese shares mixed at midday Monday

BEIJING - China's major stock indices were mixed in the morning session Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.11 percent to 2,974.48 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index went down 0.4 percent to 8,818.99 points at midday.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, went down 0.56 percent to 1,674.24 points in the morning session Monday.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
