Chinese shares close lower Friday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.24 percent to 2,998.14 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.04 percent lower at 9,064.84 points.
