HONG KONG – Long Caring, a local charitable organization, on Friday launched its new digital platform to better reach the public with its digital community services, especially for the vulnerable people in Hong Kong.

Three flagship apps were introduced during the event organized in Wan Chai – Longcaring-Region, Longcaring-Volunteer, and Longcaring-Member.

Longcaring-Region is a voluntary work order management system. Organizations can register using the app to unlock Long Caring’s free maintenance and cleaning services.

The digital platform seeks to assist the grassroots community governance of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, said Zhang Wei, general manager of CR Longdation, a property management arm of state-owned conglomerate China Resources.
