The Hong Kong Federation of Journalists held a celebration at the Marriott Hotel Ballroom in Ocean Park, Hong Kong on Wednesday to mark the creation of a media alliance in the Greater Bay Area.
The media league of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is primarily tasked to promote the exchange of media workers within the GBA.
Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu expressed his expectations to media workers, emphasizing the importance of their reports in deepening residents’ national identity, telling the true story of Hong Kong, and helping the government gain a better understanding of people’s livelihoods.
