HONG KONG - An opening ceremony at the Hong Kong Science Museum on Tuesday marked the beginning of an exhibition in the special administrative region about the remarkable achievements of the nation's manned space program.
Running from Dec 1, 2023 to Feb 18, 2024, the exhibiton is divided into two parts, showcasing the history of China's manned space missions at the Hong Kong Museum of History, as well as technological breakthroughs and prospects for future development at the Hong Kong Science Museum.
The China Manned Space Delegation, comprising top taikonauts and engineers of the nation’s manned space program, embarked on a four-day visit to the city on Tuesday and engaged in face-to-face dialogues with residents.
Leader of the China Manned Space Delegation and Deputy Director-General of the China Manned Space Agency Lin Xiqiang, Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki and members of the delegation are among the officiating guests at the ceremony.
