Bauhinia Culture Holdings launched a host of cultural projects in Shenzhen on Friday to showcase the beauty of traditional Chinese culture, as well as highlighting the economic and cultural achievements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
At a press conference held in the Bay Opera of Shenzhen, Bauhinia Culture introduced eight projects covering the areas of film, television, publishing and the performing arts.

Among them is a six-episode documentary that uses aerial photography to present the natural beauty, iconic buildings and daily lives of people in the Greater Bay Area. Launched officially at Friday's event, the documentary also presents the bay area's diverse cultures and the region's latest scientific achievements.
In addition to the documentary, the cultural group also launched a GBA reading promotion campaign in collaboration with five other publishing enterprises from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, and Guangdong province.
During the event, Bauhinia Culture signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the government of Shenzhen's Bao'an district to strengthen cultural cooperation, including in the management and operation of public cultural and art venues in Bao'an district.

The group also announced it will establish a 78,000-square-meter innovation and entrepreneurship base in Beijing. The base will focus on supporting creative cultural industries such as digital publishing, audio-visual technology and creative design, and help young, locally-based Hong Kong and Macao people to communicate with like-minded people.
