Chinese artists gave stunning performances on Thursday to mark the Year of Culture and Art of the Peoples of Central Asia and China and the opening of the China-Central Asia youth arts festival in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi province.

The grand ceremony was held at Tang Paradise, one of the renowned attractions in the historical city, featuring various performances such as traditional north Shaanxi folk music, Qinqiang Opera, and Chinese dance.
