A new community living room was officially unveiled on Monday, integrating technology and innovation such as interactive AI learning areas and smart electronic devices.

The space offers shared rooms for cooking, dining, living, and learning, as well as washing and drying machines, a children's play area, an interactive AI learning area, and a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) exploration station.

The venue sponsor, Cheng Cheung Ling, who is the vice-chairwoman of the board and executive director of Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited, attended the opening ceremony alongside Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration Warner Cheuk Wing-hing, officials, and community leaders.

The Community Living Room project was introduced in the Chief Executive's 2023 Policy Address as part of efforts to tackle the issue of subdivided flat units by providing extra space with diversified facilities and services for grassroots families.

People living in subdivided flats can use the extra space for cooking, doing homework, or socializing with others.
