HONG KONG - Hongkong Post announced on Monday the release of a set of special stamps on the theme of "Hong Kong Past and Present Series: Victoria Harbour", together with associated philatelic products, on Tuesday.
Lying between Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, Victoria Harbour is one of the world-famous natural harbours and has been identified as an icon of Hong Kong.
Since the mid-19th century, economic and trade activities have centred around both sides of Victoria Harbour, giving rise to the construction of landmark buildings in the area.
The set of four stamps reflects a journey through time to savour the past and present of Victoria harbour.

This Sept 28, 2020 photo shows a se-tenant block of stamps and stamps sheet. The se-tenant style underscores the profound transformations that Victoria Harbour has undergone over more than half a century. The style captures the stunning contrast between the developing city of the 1960s and the famed unique skyline shaped by modern skyscrapers on both shores.
