China is willing to continue facilitating the approval of licenses for rare earth exports to the European Union and hopes the bloc will help resolve key licensing cases involving dual-use exports to China on a reciprocal basis, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
"China will continue working with the EU through the export control dialogue mechanism to promote trade in dual-use items between the two sides," He Yadong, a spokesman for the ministry, told a news conference.
