To mark the second birthday of Hong Kong-born giant panda twins Jia Jia and De De, four trams have been adorned with images of the twins and their panda family, including Ying Ying, Le Le, An An, and Ke Ke as the city celebrates this joyous occasion. These themed trams will be seen starting Tuesday in Central, Admiralty, Wan Chai, and Causeway Bay.
This initiative aims to celebrate the pandas and highlight their significance to the community, while also emphasizing the importance of nature conservation. The story of Jia Jia, De De, and their family has become a cherished part of Hong Kong's cultural tapestry.
China Daily's Adam Lam took the photos on Tuesday.
