
GAZA – Five Palestinians, including a child, were killed, and 10 others injured on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in western Gaza City, Palestinian sources and eyewitnesses said.
Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at the apartment in the al-Nasr neighborhood, resulting in casualties.
Medical sources said that the injured, including children and passersby, had been taken to hospitals.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.

Also on Saturday, 17-year-old Palestinian teenager Fadi al-Nassan succumbed to wounds after being shot a week ago by Israeli forces in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The Israel Defense Forces said then that its troops had fired at a suspect who was throwing stones, according to Israeli media.
