
HONG KONG – The 23rd Hong Kong International Licensing Show and the Asian Licensing Conference will begin on April 27 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together global brand owners and intellectual property professionals.
More than 330 exhibitors from Japan, Singapore, South Korea and other markets will participate in the three-day event, showcasing over 600 brands and licensing projects across a wide range of sectors such as animation and sports. Among them are international names including Doraemon and Line Friends.
Given growing demand for digital sales channels, this year’s show will introduce a dedicated zone for IP and e-commerce support services, which will connect brands with e-commerce platforms, marketing firms, and key opinion leaders to help them expand operations online.
Gateway for global sourcing
The 2026 Go Global Expo will open its doors on Saturday as a gateway for cross-border e-commerce, offering a 60,000-square-meter showcase for over 1,000 high-quality original equipment and original design manufacturers from across China.
Organized at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, the four-day expo covers hot cross-border categories including consumer electronics, home and lifestyle, beauty and personal care, pet supplies, and outdoor sports. Over 1,300 major buyer delegations from dozens of countries and regions are expected to attend with substantial procurement demands and partnership intentions.
Parallel exhibitions will take place in other halls of the convention center, bringing the total exhibition area to 260,000 square meters. Among those is the 17th China Mobile Electronics Fair, spanning 40,000 square meters and featuring over 1,000 renowned exhibitors.
AI application matchmaking
Guangdong province will hold an artificial intelligence application matchmaking conference in Shenzhen on April 27, with an aim to strengthen connections between AI developers and users.
The province will unveil new AI support policies, present typical cases and major technological achievements, and introduce supply-demand platforms at the event.
Five parallel sessions in the afternoon will focus on AI applications in technology innovation, manufacturing, commerce and logistics, public services, as well as coordination between computing infrastructure and power supply.
Inkstone cultural carnival
The 2026 “China Inkstone Capital" (Zhaoqing) Inkstone Culture Carnival will take place from April 30 to May 5 at Qixingyan East Gate Square, showcasing exquisite masterpieces of China's four most famous inkstones, along with the finest arts, crafts, and specialty goods from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The venue will feature over 100 booths across seven zones, including Duan Inkstone masterpieces, arts and crafts, local specialties, tea, GBA delicacies, games, and a coffee, beer, and pastry section.
Visitors can also immerse themselves in intangible cultural heritage experiences and explore the inkstones exhibition.
