Defense ministry: Russia downs 67 drones over 12 regions in 7 hours

MOSCOW - Russia's air defenses destroyed 67 Ukrainian drones over 12 regions in seven hours on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The ministry said that Russia's on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 67 Ukrainian drones from 1 pm Moscow time (1000 GMT) to 8 pm Moscow time (1700 GMT) on Monday.

It said the drones were shot down over the Leningrad, Kursk, Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan, Bryansk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Oryol and Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Moscow region.
