
The 27th China International High-Tech Fair (CHTF), set to be held from Nov 14 to 16 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, will feature a landmark announcement: the launch of China's first space tourism project.
This year's fair, spanning a massive 400,000 square meters of exhibition space, will host 22 specialized zones. These will showcase everything from national-level projects and artificial intelligence to semiconductors, the low-altitude economy, and commercial aerospace.
Officials from the Shenzhen municipal government announced at a press briefing on Wednesday that the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) will introduce its Chinese space tourism initiative.

The CASC will be joined by forty other major state-owned enterprises, including China Southern Power Grid, China Rare Earth Group, and China Electric Equipment Group, which will present their latest technological advancements and equipment.
The event will also feature industrial solutions from leading companies and institutions such as Empyrean Technology, OpenHarmony, and Guangming Laboratory. Exhibits will cover the entire spectrum from design and manufacturing to operating systems and application scenarios.
Shenzhen-based robotics firms are slated to display intelligent construction equipment, including specialized robots for spraying and grinding, highlighting digital solutions for the building industry.

Beyond the exhibitions, the fair will host a robust schedule of more than 200 trade activities, including forums, roadshows, and procurement meetings.
