A traditional Piu Sik parade took place on Monday on Hong Kong's outlying Cheung Chau island, amid the ongoing celebration of Cheung Chau Da Jiu Festival.

Some child performers, standing on steel frames, dressed as deities in Chinese folklore, while others mimicked well-known real-life icons.

The festival, also known as Cheung Chau Bun Festival, is a Taoist celebration held annually on the eighth day of the fourth month in the Chinese calendar.
