HONG KONG - China's first airport terminal dedicated to our furry friends has officially started operations at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport during the Labour Day holiday.

Located opposite Gate 29 of the airport's Terminal 1, the facility aims to streamline travel procedures for passengers with pets.

The 2,000-square-meter pet terminal offers a one-stop service, including quarantine procedures, ticketing assistance, pet-friendly check-in counters, and boarding hotel arrangements.

China Daily's photographer Parker Zheng took the photos.
