Hong Kong is seeing an accelerated recovery in its tourism industry as post-COVID-19 pandemic travel rebounded.

The city recorded over 10 million tourist arrivals from January to May this year, according to the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Earlier this month, International Air Transport Association Director General Willie Walsh said the "situation is looking bright" for Hong Kong after the global aviation body upgraded its passenger traffic projections for city, which is now expected to recover to pre-pandemic levels by the end of next year.
