HONG KONG - A couple in their 30s have been arrested on suspicion of murdering their 14-month-old daughter, Hong Kong police said on Saturday.

The baby girl was found lying unconsciously on the floor in another room. She sustained neck injuries and was certified dead at the scene, police said

In a press briefing, assistant commander for Yuen Long district Gary Lam Hing-cheung said that police received a report on Friday evening from a 67-year-old man who had failed to contact his 32-year-old daughter.
