A new bridge linking China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is set to open on Thursday, a move expected to boost bilateral trade and people-to-people exchanges, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Wednesday.
Calling the two countries friendly neighbors sharing mountains and rivers, Mao said at a daily news conference that the opening of the new bridge — an important piece of infrastructure for connectivity — will help enhance the well-being of both peoples.
