BEIJING — Chinese Premier Li Qiang will attend the opening ceremony and related events of the 140th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, and deliver a keynote speech, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce announced Monday.

The 140th edition of the Canton Fair will be held from Oct 15 to Nov 4 in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, said spokesperson He Yadong.
