Kai Tak Hospital (KTH), boasting a gross floor area of approximately 500,000 square meters and equipped with 2,400 beds, officially began operations on Monday.

In a strategic move, the clinical services of Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be gradually transferred to KTH. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government has designated KTH as the primary healthcare hub in Kowloon. As the largest public hospital in the city and the flagship facility of the Kowloon Central Cluster (KCC), KTH is poised to play a pivotal role in the region's healthcare landscape.
