GUANGZHOU – The 2026 Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Cultural Exchange Season officially kicked off on Wednesday at the Guangzhou Book Center, marking another chapter of youth engagement across the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This year’s exchange programs are built around two core components: expert lectures and themed study tours.
While the lecture series explores topics including Lingnan history, food culture, urban memory, intangible heritage preservation, and children’s literature, the study tours feature five themes – city, business, culture, mountain and water.
According to the Guangzhou municipal government’s Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Cultural Exchange Season has drawn more than 200,000 young participants from the three cites over the past decade and helped establish 17 cultural exchange bases, making it a flagship brand for people-to-people exchanges in the Greater Bay Area.
